Museum Hours (extended hours due to Pennsylvania Antiques Show April 24-26, 2026)

Friday, April 24, 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday, April 25, 10 am to 6 pm
Sunday, April 26, 10 am to 4 pm

Please note: from April 24-26, museum admission is included with admission to the Pennsylvania Antiques Show.

Dewees Tavern and Speaker's House tours are walk-in. Muhlenberg House tours begin at the top of the hour. The Speaker's House is currently self-guided and by donation.

For tour reservations outside these hours, contact tours@historictrappe.org to schedule.

General Admission

Adult: $10 for first museum, $5 for  additional museum ($15 for both museums)
Senior (65 and up): $8 for first museum, $4 for additional museum ($12 for both museums)
Student: $8 for first museum, $4 for additional museum ($12 for both museums)
Youth (6-17): $5 (includes all museums)
Child (5 and under): FREE
Members: FREE

Historic Trappe offers a variety of tour options and special rates for groups of 10 or more. For more information, contact tours@historictrappe.org.

Center for Pennsylvania German Studies

301 W. Main Street

The Center for Pennsylvania German Studies, located at the Dewees Tavern, is open on Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm and Sundays from 12 to 4 pm. For a tour outside these times, contact tours@historictrappe.org to make an appointment. Enjoy five exhibition galleries filled with a wide variety of Pennsylvania German furniture, fraktur, textiles, pottery, and much more!

Our research library focuses on local history and genealogy, Pennsylvania German art and culture, and American decorative arts. The library is open by appointment only; contact us at info@historictrappe.org to schedule a visit. We also offer research services for those unable to visit in person.

Muhlenberg House

The Muhlenberg House is open for guided tours on Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm and Sundays from 12 to 4 pm. Muhlenberg House tours are at the top of the hour. Please stop first at the Dewees Tavern to request a tour.

Speaker's House

The Speaker’s House and adjacent kitchen garden are open now for self-guided tours during regular museum hours.

Muhlenberg Parsonage

The parsonage is undergoing architectural study in preparation for its restoration and is not yet open for tours.
